ANTENATAL ULTRASOUND
Ultrasound is a diagnostic procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to obtain clear images of the baby.
Types of Antenatal Scans include:
Dating Scan (8-14 Weeks)
Determines the gestational age of the pregnancy and the due date.
NT Scan (11-13 Weeks)
Assesses the risk of chromosomal abnormalities by measuring the nuchal translucency at the back of the baby's neck.
Gender Scan (18 Weeks and Up)
Identifies the baby's sex and checks the development of various structures.
Detailed Scan (18-26 Weeks)
Provides a comprehensive examination of the baby's anatomy and the placenta, often called the anomaly scan.
3D/4D/5D Scan (28-32 Weeks)
Offers three-dimensional or four-dimensional images for a more detailed view of the baby's features and movements.
